Why FREE?
Make a long story short
FREE gets people’s attention.
Keep a long story long
As students of marketing, we learned that free is the most powerful word in advertising. As avid quote readers, we noted that bestselling author Malcolm Gladwell said, “That magic word ‘free’ has the power to create a consumer stampede.”
Not-so-coincidentally, that’s exactly the kind of enthusiastic response we aim to bring out in consumers. How? Through fresh ideas that people can’t help but talk about, blog about, retweet, “Like”, be part of, or pass along. Smart ideas that stem from sound strategic thinking and well-honed human insights. Big ideas that make an emotional connection and inspire action. Read this! See, told you so.
Above all, FREE is a state of mind. We are freethinking individuals who are not constrained by the usual set of rules. We create collaboratively and critique freely—all in the interest of making our work the best it can be. We are free of the layers of management and departmental silos found in some larger agencies. Most of all, we value the free beer that magically appears Friday afternoons (and mysteriously disappears shortly thereafter).
